Joe Castaneda
has over 10 years of civil engineering experience within
the fields of flood control, municipal, transportation,
land development, and construction engineering. He has focused
his career in flood control engineering that consisted of
technical environmental and engineering challenges in both
the public and private sector.
Joe Castaneda has significant experience
in all aspect of flood control engineering and watershed
management. He has been involved in hydrology studies for
regional projects and site specific projects utilizing several
numerical and computer models. Mr. Castaneda has experience
in river modeling, storm drain modeling, and sediment transport
modeling. His hydraulic expertise includes preliminary drainage
design, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood
plain mapping and processing, Master Drainage Plans and
Value Engineering Studies, river/stream analyses and environmental
solutions, and scour and natural channel design.
